After successful simulation, the required demodulation system is implemented on FPGA Artix-7 board. However, the proposed model to carry out effective demodulation is designed and simulated using Xilinx VIVADO. Earlier, peripheral component interconnect direct digital synthesis-based integrated command encoder (PCDICE) which is a PC add-on card was used to get the information like modulation scheme, subcarrier frequency, voltage level, command mode, mode of operation, etc. The telecommand encoder is responsible for generating uplink satellite command with the required subcarriers and carrier modulation by interfacing with telemetry, tracking and command (TTC) station computer through Ethernet. After the verification of demodulated commands to be devoid of any errors, the errorless commands are transmitted to the satellite, else the command set is discarded. The main motive behind demodulation of commands in telecommand is to ensure the transmission of errorless command signals to the satellite. Demodulation of commands for effective communication between systems (irrespective of the location of system: be it present on ground or in space) is essential.
